Summon is a library discovery tool.  Summon helps users to discover library resources, regardless of format.  Using Summon, users can locate books, articles, videos and other library resources, all from one search box.

In most instances, Summon eliminates the need to go to multiple search interfaces (Catalog, database, portal). Users can simply enter their search term(s) and allow Summon to go to work.  Based on initial search results, users can filter out unwanted contact to satisfy their information need.
